THE PLACE of INTELLECT or INTELLIGENCE.
[THE TRIPARTITE MAN:]
For proper understanding of the difference between the Intuition and the Intellect of the man we must understand first the Tripartite Man.
Man is a Spirit having a Soul and Living in a Body.
Man is a Spirit being having a human experience not a human being having a spiritual experience.
Now Let’s leave the Body or Human Experience because it’s sole interest is the lust of the eyes and lust of the flesh and pride of life. We will look at the subject of our discourse….Intuition and Intellect from the angle of the Spirit and the Soul of man.

[The Spirit Man.]
(1)Conscience.
1Timothy 4:2 KJV
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
[§]The conscience is the police of the Spirit or your Moral compass. We must keep pure always.

(2)Communion.
John 4:24)
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
[§]True Worshipers are those who will worship the lord in Spirit and truth.

(3)Intuition.
Job 33:4
The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

[§]THE SPIRIT OF MAN IS THE BREADTH OF THE ALMIGHTY, THIS IS THE PART THAT CONNECTS WITH SPIRIT OF GOD.
[§]INTUITION OPENS YOU UP TO RECEIVE FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT.
[§]INTUITION BRINGS YOU INTO THE REALM OF POSSIBILITIES WHICH IS FAR BEYOND REASONING BECAUSE IT IS REVEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
[§]INTUITION IS HIGHER THAN INTELLECT. INTELLECT IS THE PRODUCT OF THE MIND BUT INTUITION IS THE DELIVERY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
[§]WHEN YOU SEE WITH YOUR EYES IT IS CALLED VISION BUT WHEN YOU SEE WITH (the eyes of )YOUR HEART IT IS CALLED PERCEPTION.
1King 3:9
Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
[§]PERCEPTION IS SOMETIMES USED INTERCHANGEABLY WITH THE WORD PERSPECTIVE but THEY MEAN DIFFERENT THINGS.
[§]PERCEPTION IS PICKING FROM THE SPIRIT WHILE PERSPECTIVE IS being able to UNDERSTAND FROM YOUR REASONING.
[§]PERCEPTION IS FROM THE SPIRIT WHILE PERSPECTIVE IS FROM THE SOUL REALM. Whilst both her very important however PERCEPTION IS HIGHER THAN PERSPECTIVES.
[§]AFTER ALL THE SPIRIT IS SUPERIOR TO THE SOUL.
[§]Also called Discernment.
It means “to understand or know something through the power of the HolySpirit. It includes perceiving the true character of people and the source and meaning of spiritual manifestations”
1 Corinthians 12:10
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
[The Soul-Man.]
Psalms 42:11
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
[The Soul of man has four components:]
1)The Mind.
This is the processing unit of the soul that Ruminates(think past)Contemplates(think present)Anticipates( think future)

2)The will.
The department in charge of decision making.

3)The Emotion.
This is the department in charge of feelings.

4)INTELLECT OR INTELLIGENCE.
Definition:
This the faculty of reasoning and understanding objectivity especially with regard to abstract matters and subsequent forming of judgment.
Reasoning ability. It is called the person’s mental power or Brain power.
A very general mental capability that, involves the ability to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly and learn from experience.
Intelligence is the ability to understand, acquire and apply knowledge and skills.
Intellect and intelligence are contrasted by etymology; derived from the Latin present active participle intelligere, the term intelligence denotes “to gather in between”, whereas the term intellect, derived from the past participle of intelligere, denotes “what has been gathered”.
Therefore, intelligence relates to the creation of new categories of understanding, based upon similarities and differences, while intellect relates to understanding existing categories.
Intellect or Intelligence is a product of the Mind.
[Scriptures:]
(1)Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
[§]THE WORD OF GOD HAS THE ABILITY TO TRANSFORM THE MIND. THEREFORE THE MIND MUST BE CONSTANTLY EXPOSED TO THE LIGHT OF GODS WORD.
(2)1 Corinthians 2:16
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.
[§]THE MIND OF THE BELIEVER IS THE MIND OF CHRIST and IT IS DEFINITELY AN UPGRADED MIND.
(3)Colossians 3:2 amp
And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.
[§]THE MIND OF CHRIST IN THE BELIEVERS MUST BE KEPT CONSTANTLY ILLUMINATED BY SETTING THE MIND ON THINGS ABOVE.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
[§]WHAT YOU FEED THE MIND WITH DETERMINES THE HEALTH OF YOUR MIND. EVEN THOUGH THE MIND OF THE BELIEVER IS UPGRADED YET IT MUST CONSTANTLY BE EXPOSED ONLY TO THE RIGHT THINGS.
[§]THE RIGHT THINGS THAT ARE:
True.
Honest.
Just.
Pure.
Lovely.
Good Report.
Virtue.
Praise worthy.

[THE PLACE of INTUITION]
[§]Intuition is an inherent ability to acquire knowledge without inference or the use of reason.
[§]The word “intuition” comes from the Latin word “inturei” which is roughly translated as meaning “to look inside” or “to contemplate.”

[§]Another word for Intuition is Discernment.
[§]Another way to describe Intuition is Inner -Tutor.
[§]Some intuitive experiences could include:
  • A strange “knowing” that something is going to happen.
  • An unexplained feeling that won’t go away and is later explained by something that occurs.
  • Feeling very strong emotions toward someone or something and later understanding that those feelings were correct, and why.
  • Flashes, or glimpses, of things, people, or situations that seem to come out of nowhere.
[§]Mankind are gifted with Intuition but Animals have Instinct.
[§]Intuition flows from the spirit or the heart while intellect or intelligence flows from the mind.

THE INTUITION and THE HOLY SPIRIT.

[§]Intuition is the sense of the HolySpirit being communicated to you.
[§]The body has its senses, and the spirit also has its senses.
[§]The spirit dwells in the body and has a very close relationship with the body; nevertheless, it is completely different from the body.
[§]The body has various senses, but a spiritual man can detect that which is beyond his physical senses.
[§]There is another sense in the innermost part of his being which can rejoice, grieve, fear, approve, condemn, determine, and discern. These are the senses of the spirit which are distinct from the senses of the soul expressed through the body.
[§]The senses and functions of the spirit can be seen from the following verses:
“The spirit is willing” (Matt. 26:41).
“Jesus, knowing fully in His spirit” (Mark 2:8).
“He groaned deeply in His spirit” (Mark 8:12).
“My spirit has exulted in God my Savior” (Luke 1:47).
“The true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and
truthfulness” (John 4:23).
“He…was moved with indignation in His spirit” (John 11:33).
“When Jesus had said these things, He became troubled in
His spirit” (John 13:21).
“His spirit was provoked within him as he beheld that the city
was full of idols” (Acts 17:16).
“This man was instructed in the way of the Lord, and being
fervent in spirit” (Acts 18:25).
“Paul purposed in his spirit” (Acts 19:21).
“I am going bound in the spirit to Jerusalem” (Acts 20:22).
“Burning in spirit” (Rom. 12:11).
“For who among men knows the things of man, except the
spirit of man which is in him?” (1 Cor. 2:11).
“I will sing with the spirit” (1 Cor. 14:15).
“If you bless with the spirit” (1 Cor. 14:16).
“I had no rest in my spirit” (2 Cor. 2:13).
“Having the same spirit of faith” (2 Cor. 4:13).
“A spirit of wisdom and revelation” (Eph. 1:17).
“Your love in the Spirit” (Col. 1:8).
[§]The Bible does not say man’s heart senses and functions in this way, but his spirit does sense or function in this way.
[§]Whether it is thoughts, decisions, or feelings, as long as it is something that the soul has, the spirit has it also. This shows us how important it is to learn to distinguish the spiritual from the soulish.
[§]As a believer passes through the deep work of the cross and Holy Spirit, he gradually becomes experienced and knows what what is of the spirit.
[§]After a believer has fully embraced the life of the spirit and developing the spirit man, his spirit’s senses and functions grow and fully develop.
[§]Only then will he be able to understand the various senses of his spirit. This sense of the spirit is called the intuition because it comes without any cause or reason.
[§]It comes “intuitively” without passing through any means. Our ordinary senses are aroused by specific means, which may be people, things, or events. These things give rise to certain feelings.
[§]The sense of the spirit does not come from any means but comes directly from our inner being.
[§]What is the inner Being?
Inner Being is the Breathe of the Almighty.
Job 33:4
The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Inner Being is the Quickened

Spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[§]When the power of the Holy Spirit is poured into the spirit of the man and his inner man is strengthened, his spirit will possess the senses and functions of a full-grown man.
